Forest Bathing

Photo of Kitty Stephenson sat leaning against a tree, Forest Bathing.

What is Forest Bathing?

Forest Bathing is gentle, slow movement under the canopy of trees, in nature, stopping regularly to engage in sensory activities.
Forest Bathing originated in Japan in the 1980s where it is known as Shinrin-Yoku - 森林浴.

I am in training to become a Forest Bathing+ Guide with the Forest Bathing Institute and hope to start offering Forest Bathing group sessions in Leeds early 2027.
